Carli Leimbach is a Producer, Curator and Artist. She has developed and managed innovative, high quality arts projects and programs for large-scale outdoor festival settings in Australia, America, Indonesia and the United Kingdom including Zero1 Biennale San Jose USA, Burning Man Festival, Splendour In the Grass Festival, The Great Escape Festival, Cockatoo Island Festival, Gang Festival and Sydney Laneway Festival.
In her spare time she mixes eclectic film footage with hand made visuals with collective Pixel Vision presenting original multi-stream VJ performances, art installations and experimental audiovisual events. She has collaborated with international dancers, musicians and actors to provide visual events for Woodford Festival, Carnivale Festival, Sydney Latin American Film Festival, The Studio - SOH, Performance Space, Seymour Centre, Art Gallery of NSW, Melt Bar, Elizabeth Bay House and Plug n Play Sydney.
Working as Producer for Splendid, Carli has been able to draw on her experience when assisting in the design of the Art Labs, mentoring and overseeing project commissions for festival audiences. Her focus continues to be on creating interactivity and how to encourage artists to create work that will inspire, engage, question, puzzle, amuse, seduce and otherwise influence Splendour in the Grass audiences.

She believes passionately in the Splendid program developing and funding large scale public art that is imaginative and provides a “wow” factor outside the traditional gallery space.
Marisa came on board in October as Production Manager and her position is funded by the Australia Council as part of the Emerging Producers Program, a subsidiary of the Opportunities for Young and Emerging Artists initiative.
Marisa joins the Splendid team with a wealth of experience in all things production. Starting out in still photographic production for advertising she moved into the camera department of films before discovering her real love of theatre and festival production. She co-founded production company MAKEbeLIVE Productions in 2004 and has produced theatre in many of Sydney's venues such as Belvoir St theatre, The old Fitzroy, The Opera House Studio, and The Darlinghurst Theatre. For the past four years she has been a festival whore and has worked in production at Sydney Festival, Darwin Festival, The Dreaming and Planting Festivals (on Woodford's site), The Great Escape Festival, Ten Days on the Island and was the Production Manager for the Royal Mile Street Performance at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008.
She has also worked in the capacity of publicity for Splendour in the Grass.

Marisa's role is shared between NORPA (Northern Rivers Performing Arts ) and Splendid. Marisa moved to the region from Sydney with this opportunity and is full of inspiration for the artistic opportunities that exist within Splendid and NORPA.
